To those who feel left behind

Written on 14th April 2026 by Ezekiel

I don’t like writing motivational essays. Yet, this is going to be the first one I’ll ever write. Why? because its needed.

This letter was from a journal entry (it was meant to be confidential)

There’s always a guy

But what about me?

Let’s agree on one thing

We both agree that until now. We didn’t put in much effort into your self, skill and craft.

Also, that we did not do the necessary work required to get the output expected.

For all this, I have one reply

The end justifies the means, not the beginning

I am sure you’re still a student, starting out life (the real stuff) or about to graduate (between ages 19 - 23).

This might sound cliché. There is more than enough time (right now) to figure out where you want to go and put in the necessary effort required to get there.

Sometimes, even after the effort, the results might not seem forthcoming. It might not even make sense. Trust me, It didn’t for me.

I failed 3 interviews in 3 weeks from 3 different companies around 9am on the 9th month of 2025

So yeah, it won’t be easy for some of us.

In these scenarios, still remember, the end justifies the means, not the beginning.
Yet, we are just starting.

Lastly

Time counts, if you are a bit retrospective (with the little time you’ve spent on this planet)

Every little hour you waste (scrolling, gist-ing, FIFA, Sporty) everyday counts. And worse, it compounds.

Guys, you see doing stuff spend their time wisely.
Notice it.
If you choose to, emulate it.

Sounds cliché?, I know

The Bible says,

Then the LORD answered me: “Write down this vision

and clearly inscribe it on tablets, so that a herald may run with it. For the vision awaits an appointed time;

it testifies of the end and does not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it,

since it will surely come and will not delay

I don’t know when it will come, it might be early, it might be late.

All I know is that it will surely come, before the end (As long as I run with it).

And, I am just starting.
